However, when it comes to all-electric cars, Porsche could not improve upon last year&#8217;s results.<\/p>\n<p>In Q1 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/porsche\/taycan\/\">Porsche Taycan<\/a> sales (all versions: Taycan, Taycan Cross Turismo, and Taycan GTS) amounted to 9,152, which is 3.4 percent less than a year ago. That&#8217;s the fourth consecutive quarter of year-over-year decline.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, the Taycan is the only <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/porsche\/\">Porsche<\/a> model in the red. The company explains that: <em>&#8220;The reason for the decline are the still existing supply bottlenecks in the supplier industry, which are having a particular impact on the electric sports car.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Porsche Taycan share out of the brand&#8217;s total volume amounted to 11.3 percent (compared to nearly 14 percent a year ago).<\/p>\n<p>Porsche sales by model &#8211; Q1 2023:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Macan: 23,880 (up 30%)<\/li>\n<li>Cayenne: 23,387 (up 23%)<\/li>\n<li>911: 11,063 (up 19%)<\/li>\n<li>Taycan (all versions): 9,152 (down 3.4%) and 11.3% of the total volume<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/662764\/us-porsche-taycan-sales-2023q1\/\">including 1,527 in the United States (down 21%)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Panamera: 8,479 (up 10%)<\/li>\n<li>718 Boxster and 718 Cayman: 4,806 (up 6%)<\/li>\n<li>Total: 80,767 (up 18%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><a class=\"lightzoom\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/porsche-taycan-sales-in-q1-2023.png\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/thumbnail\/porsche-taycan-sales-in-q1-2023.png\" alt=\"external_image\" width=\"906\" height=\"428\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>For reference, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/631126\/porsche-taycan-global-sales-2022q4\/\">in 2022, Porsche delivered 34,801 all-electric cars (down 16 percent year-over-year)<\/a>, which was also 11.2% of the total volume.<\/p>\n<p>Porsche sales by model &#8211; Q1-Q4 2022:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cayenne: 95,604<\/li>\n<li>Macan: 86,724<\/li>\n<li>911: 40,410<\/li>\n<li>Taycan (all versions): 34,801 (down 16%) and 11.2% of the total volume<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/630882\/us-porsche-taycan-sales-2022q4\/\">including 7,271 in the US (down 23%)<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Panamera: 34,142<\/li>\n<li>718 Boxster and 718 Cayman: 18,203<\/li>\n<li>Total: 309,884 (up 2.6%)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><a class=\"lightzoom\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/porsche-taycan-sales-in-q1-2023-b.png\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/thumbnail\/porsche-taycan-sales-in-q1-2023-b.png\" alt=\"external_image\" width=\"907\" height=\"438\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>Cumulatively, Porsche sold more than 105,000 Taycans globally.
