{"id":48141,"date":"2023-04-25T00:03:38","date_gmt":"2023-04-25T04:03:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=48141"},"modified":"2023-04-25T00:03:38","modified_gmt":"2023-04-25T04:03:38","slug":"mclaren-720s-successor-teased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=48141","title":{"rendered":"McLaren 720S successor teased with startup sound, rear view"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/02\/03\/mclaren-750s-replace-720s-2023-report\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:0;\">report from February this year<\/a> pegged April as the official reveal date for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2019\/02\/26\/mclaren-720s-spider-first-drive-review\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">McLaren 720S\u2019<\/a> successor, and it\u2019s proven true. <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/mclaren\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">McLaren<\/a> released a teaser on Twitter today, saying that the reveal of a new \u201cbenchmark <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/category\/supercars\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">supercar<\/a>\u201d is coming at 7 p.m. ET tomorrow, April 25.<\/p>\n<p>This vehicle will undoubtedly be the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/mclaren\/720s\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">720S<\/a> successor, which is currently <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/category\/rumormill\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">rumored<\/a> to be named the 750S. The teaser video associated with the news is a video clip in which the soon-to-be-revealed supercar is started up. You can hear the engine of the 750S fire up and idle for a few seconds before the audio is cut. However, power will be raised to approximately <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/bmw\/740\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">740<\/a> horsepower instead of the previous car\u2019s 710 horsepower. The teaser footage isn\u2019t very revealing, but we can see some red LED taillights appear out of the darkness in the video.
