Details about its successor haven&#8217;t been released, but a recent report claims that the Stellantis-owned brand privately showed some of its <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/car-dealers\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">dealers<\/a> an electric model that will take the sedan&#8217;s torch.<\/p>\n<p>Citing anonymous dealer sources, enthusiast website <em>Mopar Insiders<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/moparinsiders.com\/chrysler-teased-dealers-last-month-with-a-300-successor\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">wrote<\/a> that the yet-unnamed model takes the form of a sedan with a fastback-like roof line. Some attendees drew a parallel between the EV and the prototype shown in renderings (pictured) in 2021; others pointed out its proportions and size are reminiscent of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/11\/01\/dodge-charger-daytona-srt-concept-sema-updates-power\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">the Dodge Charger Daytona concept<\/a>, which will reach production in the coming years.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing is official, but we wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/dodge\/charger\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Charger<\/a> Daytona spawns a <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chrysler\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Chrysler<\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/03\/13\/2023-dodge-charger-challenger-discounts-price-increases\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">the current-generation Charger<\/a> shares its basic platform with the 300, after all, and building several vehicles on the same platform is a way for carmakers to reap economies of scale. One point worth noting is that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/11\/04\/dodge-charger-electric-next-generation-straight-six-ice-engine-fits\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">Dodge executives have confirmed<\/a> the architecture that will underpin the next Charger is compatible with the straight-six engine found in several Stellantis products. If it fits in the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/dodge\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">Dodge<\/a>, it&#8217;s reasonable to assume it fits in the Chrysler.<\/p>\n<p>Dodge hasn&#8217;t announced plans to offer the Charger with the straight-six engine and neither has Chrysler; executives haven&#8217;t revealed what comes after the 300, though company CEO Christine Fuell <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/02\/14\/10-questions-with-chrysler-ceo-chris-fuell\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:10;\">told <em>Autoblog<\/em><\/a> that there are &#8220;quite a bit of new products in our roadmap.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/category\/rumormill\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:11;\">rumor<\/a> echoes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/07\/08\/chrysler-300-electric-car-2026\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:12;\">an earlier report<\/a> that details an alleged 300 successor due out in 2026 with <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/battery\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:13;\">battery<\/a> power, between 201 and 443 horsepower depending on the variant, and an 800-volt electrical architecture for faster charging. This hasn&#8217;t been confirmed, however. As of writing, the only upcoming model that Chrysler has announced is a production version of the Airflow Vision we first saw as a very futuristic concept <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2020\/01\/02\/chrysler-airflow-vision-concept-ces-preview\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:14;\">at CES 2020<\/a>, as a more realistic design study <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/01\/05\/chrysler-airflow-concept-reveal-ces-electric-car-future\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:15;\">at CES 2022<\/a>, and with a black finish <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/04\/13\/chrysler-airflow-electric-new-york-auto-show\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:16;\">at the 2022 New York Auto Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of whether the 300 gets replaced and what replaces it, at least Chrysler seemingly has a future \u2014 it was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2021\/01\/03\/chrysler-brand-axed-under-stallantis\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:17;\">skating on perilously thin ice<\/a> when Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (<a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/fca\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:18;\">FCA<\/a>) and PSA Peugeot-Citro\u00ebn merged to form Stellantis in 2021.
