{"id":49307,"date":"2023-05-10T06:03:24","date_gmt":"2023-05-10T10:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=49307"},"modified":"2023-05-10T06:03:24","modified_gmt":"2023-05-10T10:03:24","slug":"volkswagen-id4-recall-doors-open-while-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=49307","title":{"rendered":"Volkswagen Recalls ID.4 EV Because The Doors Might Open When Driving"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Volkswagen is recalling 35,325 ID.4 electric vehicles because their doors could open unexpectedly while driving at low speeds.<\/p>\n<p>According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) <a href=\"https:\/\/static.nhtsa.gov\/odi\/rcl\/2023\/RCLRPT-23V312-3702.PDF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recall report<\/a>, the affected vehicles were built in Zwickau, Germany for the US market between December 2020 and December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The carmaker has issued the recall because the ID.4s in question may have been built with door handles that don\u2019t meet the factory specifications for protection against water ingress.
