{"id":49456,"date":"2023-05-11T12:04:03","date_gmt":"2023-05-11T16:04:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=49456"},"modified":"2023-05-11T12:04:03","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T16:04:03","slug":"1139621_lamborghini-hurac-n-is-sold-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=49456","title":{"rendered":"Lamborghini Hurac\u00e1n is sold out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lamborghini has closed the order books for the Hurac\u00e1n, nine years after the V-10-powered supercar made its debut.<\/p>\n<p>While announcing its financial results for the first quarter of 2023 this week, Lamborghini said the Hurac\u00e1n was sold out to its scheduled end of production.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The final version of the car was revealed late last year as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1137996_lamborghini-huracan-sterrato-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">off-road-ready Hurac\u00e1n Sterrato<\/a>. However, Lamborghini may still roll out a few special editions, similar to what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1138677_lamborghini-invencible-and-autentica-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">happened with the Aventador<\/a> after its final version was announced.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1113569_lamborghini-hurac-n-successor-due-late-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Hurac\u00e1n successor<\/a> with a plug-in hybrid powertrain is planned. The rear-mounted transmission is designed to integrate an electric motor to help the engine power the rear wheels, and one or two additional motors will likely power the front wheels of the Hurac\u00e1n successor, just like in the Revuelto.<\/p>\n<p>The Hurac\u00e1n is the best-selling model in Lamborghini&#8217;s history, with more than 20,000 units sold as of mid-2022. The previous record of 14,022 units was held by the Gallardo, which the Hurac\u00e1n smashed after just five years on the market.<\/p>\n<p>The Hurac\u00e1n will also have the honor of being the last production Lamborghini powered purely by an internal-combustion engine. The Revuelto already features a plug-in hybrid powertrain, and the Urus is slated to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1126768_2024-lamborghini-urus-plug-in-hybrid-spy-shots\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">go the plug-in hybrid route<\/a> in the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Lamborghini has started off 2023 with record results, including delivering 2,623 cars, up 84 cars compared to the same period a year ago.
