It\u2019s also making summer jobs available through the city\u2019s Summer Youth Employment Program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer<\/strong> said, \u201cOur partnership with Hertz Electrifies will help us meet our goal of accelerating electric vehicles and expanding charging infrastructure.\u201d Orlando has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlando.gov\/Our-Government\/Departments-Offices\/Executive-Offices\/CAO\/Sustainability-Resilience\/Initiatives\/Electric-Mobility-Roadmap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2030 Electric Mobility Roadmap<\/a> in place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/04\/19\/hertz-is-bringing-4000-rental-evs-to-atlanta-including-tesla\/\">In April<\/a>, Hertz announced that it was bringing an additional 4,000 EVs to Atlanta, which is already home to Hertz\u2019s third-largest EV fleet in the US.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n<p><em>If you\u2019re an electric vehicle owner, charge up your car at home with rooftop solar panels.
