In Q1 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/downloads.rivian.com\/2md5qhoeajym\/3SEWUjtogdvVesHpicxgao\/79490ddc6d0da90a7f77dce0ec61cee8\/RIVN_1Q23_Shareholder_Letter_05.09.23.pdf\" rel=\"\">Rivian<\/a> reported $661 million in revenue with 7,946 vehicles delivered and $11.78 billion in cash holdings. <a href=\"https:\/\/ir.lucidmotors.com\/news-releases\/news-release-details\/lucid-announces-first-quarter-2023-financial-results\" rel=\"\">Lucid<\/a> Group had Q1 revenue of $149.4 million, planning to produce over 10,000 vehicles in 2023, and maintaining $4.1 billion in liquidity. The US currently produces only 1% of the world&#8217;s lithium, with the Biden administration&#8217;s EV tax credit aiming to boost domestic battery material sourcing and production.
