Musk Says &#8220;LOL&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday we learned that the Rimac Nevera set no fewer than 23 records in one day, including 0-60 mph in a staggering 1.74 seconds and 0-249-0 mph in a mind-blowing 29.94 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s impressive stuff for any car, even for an ultra-limited electric hypercar that starts around $2.15 million (2 million euros). It also proves that if anyone wants to achieve such high levels of performance, they need a battery-electric vehicle to do the job.<\/p>\n<p>But do you know who&#8217;s not impressed with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motor1.com\/news\/667676\/rimac-nevera-sets-23-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rimac Nevera&#8217;s records<\/a>? Elon Musk, or at least that&#8217;s how one can interpret the reaction he had to the news on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Asked by <em>Teslaconomics<\/em> whether the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/roadster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Tesla Roadster<\/a> will be able to beat the 0-60 mph record of 1.74 seconds set by the Rimac Nevera, Tesla&#8217;s CEO replied cryptically with an &#8220;LOL.&#8221;<\/p>\n<section class=\"embed-item\" contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"embed\" data-embed-code=\"%3Cblockquote%20class%3D%22twitter-tweet%22%3E%3Cp%20lang%3D%22und%22%20dir%3D%22ltr%22%3Elol%3C%2Fp%3E%26mdash%3B%20Elon%20Musk%20(%40elonmusk)%20%3Ca%20href%3D%22https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Felonmusk%2Fstatus%2F1659055616239849475%3Fref_src%3Dtwsrc%255Etfw%22%3EMay%2018%2C%202023%3C%2Fa%3E%3C%2Fblockquote%3E%20%3Cscript%20async%20src%3D%22https%3A%2F%2Fplatform.twitter.com%2Fwidgets.js%22%20charset%3D%22utf-8%22%3E%3C%2Fscript%3E%20\">\u00a0<\/section>\n<p>Despite hundreds of follow-up comments from Twitter users, Elon Musk did not clarify what he meant by the &#8220;laughing out loud&#8221; acronym.
