That entire process takes a targeted 12 to 15 months.<\/p>\n<p>But demand for <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/537018\/rolls-royce-spectre-ev-2023\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22537018%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22rolls-royce-spectre-ev-2023%22%7D\">the company\u2019s first EV<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/rolls-royce\/spectre\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22rolls-royce%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22spectre%22%7D\">Spectre<\/a>, is pushing beyond that time, according to CEO Torsten M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s, owing to <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/632650\/rolls-royce-spectre-order-intake-far-better-than-expected-ceo\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22632650%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22rolls-royce-spectre-order-intake-far-better-than-expected-ceo%22%7D\">the strong demand we reported on in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you would order today, you probably will take delivery in 2025,\u201d M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s told <em>InsideEVs<\/em> during a media scrum at the Concorso D\u2019Eleganza Villa D\u2019Este in Lake Como, Italy on Saturday. \u201cOur intention [is 15 months], yeah? We learned a lot about charging times [with the concepts],\u201d M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s said. \u201cIt was clear that we don&#8217;t need to be number one with outrageous range or whatever, but <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/617003\/2024-rolls-royce-spectre-ev-official-debut\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22617003%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%222024-rolls-royce-spectre-ev-official-debut%22%7D\">a range of 500 kilometers (311 miles)<\/a> is totally sufficient for our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also gave us the right logic behind battery size,\u201d he added. \u201cHow much do we need to do in terms of body shape? What should the whole car look like? But \u201c[this] grille is very different from what we have ever seen before on a Rolls-Royce. The vanes are shaped in a way that the wind circles perfectly around the car and no longer goes in for cooling purposes as it used to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a result, M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s\u2019 confirmed, the Spectre is the most aerodynamically efficient Roller ever, adding \u201cAll the clients who ordered [a Spectre] are very enthusiastic about it, obviously.\u201d Us too, Torsten. Fortunately, we won\u2019t be waiting 15 months.
