Engine troubles prevented him from competing in 2022. This year, in honor of her late father, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/04\/28\/ken-blocks-teenage-daughter-to-race-up-pikes-peak-in-honor-of-her-dad\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">Lia Block will run the Hoonipigasus<\/a> up the mountain on a demonstration run. The mundane terminal velocity isn&#8217;t a major handicap on a hill climb, whereas the fact that the electric powertrain won&#8217;t give up any of its urge at altitude is a major plus.
