Charging times are very comparable, both AC and DC.

The main difference appears to be the price (27 percent higher in the EQS) and standard equipment/features, so this is the thing to research before buying.

EV Comparison Side-by-Side by InsideEVs

Model

2023 Mercedes EQE 350 4Matic 19-inch
[A]

Difference
[A] / [B]

2023 Mercedes EQS 450 4Matic (AWD; 20-inch)
[B]

Drive

AWD

AWD

Battery

90.6 kWh

-16.4%

108.4 kWh

EPA Range

Combined

260 mi*
(418 km)

-23.5%

340 mi
(547 km)

City

328.2 mi
(528 km)

Highway

354.4 mi
(570 km)

Specs

0-60 mph

6.0 s

13.2%

5.3 s

Top speed

130 mph
(209 km/h)

Peak power

215 kW

-18.9%

265 kW

EPA Energy Consumption (including charging losses)

Combined

103 MPGe: 327 Wh/mi (203 Wh/km)

City

101 MPGe: 334 Wh/mi (207 Wh/km)

Highway

105 MPGe: 321 Wh/mi (199 Wh/km)

Charging

AC

On-board charger: 9.6 kW
Info: 10-100% SOC in 10.5 h

On-board charger: 9.6 kW
Info: 10-100% SOC in 11.5 h

DC

Peak charging power: 170 kW
Info: 10-80% SOC in 32 min

Peak charging power: 200 kW
Info: 10-80% SOC in 31 min

Weight, Payload and Towing

Curb weight (est.)

5424 lbs (2460 kg)

-7.4%

5856 lbs (2656 kg)

Prices

MSRP

$77,900

-27.5%

$107,400

Dest.
