Late last year, the Stuttgart <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/performance\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">sports car<\/a> maker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/11\/19\/for-porsches-718-two-seater-twins-the-electric-future-is-underway\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">talked up its &#8220;Flexline&#8221; capability<\/a> that can accommodate internal-combustion- and EV-powered vehicles coming down the same line. We found out then that the switchover would happen in 2025, the Flexline inclusion suggesting Porsche could keep the ICE-powered entry-level coupe and convertible in the lineup, the same way it&#8217;s doing with the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/porsche\/macan\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Macan<\/a> and Macan EV. The production models show off Mission R headlights, too, which, admittedly, appear similar to units on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2024\/02\/06\/2025-porsche-taycan-unveiled-with-numerous-design-and-powertrain-changes\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:16;\" data-rapid_p=\"14\" data-v9y=\"1\">updated Taycan<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/article\/2024-porsche-macan-electric-review\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:17;\" data-rapid_p=\"15\" data-v9y=\"1\">Macan Electric<\/a>, and that flash the same quad LED DRL design that also doubles as turn signals.
