This and more, here at Green Car Reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The American EV startup automaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1143554_fisker-files-for-bankruptcy-again\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fisker filed for bankruptcy<\/a> Monday after it failed to gather enough new investment to get production of its Ocean electric crossover going again. It\u2019s possible that its liabilities have already neared its total assets, as Fisker has followed an \u201casset-light\u201d model that involved contract manufacturing. And yes, this is the second time a Fisker automaker has gone bankrupt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1143546_volvo-highest-mileage-plug-in-hybrid-s60-recharge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volvo S60 Recharge is the highest-mileage plug-in hybrid<\/a> in Volvo\u2019s lineup\u2014by electric miles or mpg\u2014and it\u2019s going away after the 2025 model year. While Volvo confirmed several years ago that gasoline models would be dropped from the South Carolina plant where it\u2019s built, Volvo on Monday ruled out making the S60 an import. It\u2019s unclear, as of yet, where the V60 wagon variants stand.<\/p>\n<p>According to a report citing inside sources, Kia is considering Mexico as the assembly location for its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1143549_report-kia-ev3-may-be-made-in-mexico-to-hit-30-000-price\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">upcoming Kia EV3 electric SUV<\/a>\u2014so the compact EV might reach the U.S. market with a price as low as $30,000 and EV tax credit eligibility. But it\u2019s no done deal as of yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the U.S., <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1143527_us-evs-driven-less-than-ice-vs-world\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EVs are driven fewer miles annually than gasoline models<\/a>, including hybrids. It\u2019s not that way elsewhere in the world, where EV drivers tend to drive <em>more<\/em>.
