A <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/ferrari\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:0;\">Ferrari<\/a> F40 and a new version of a NASCAR <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chevrolet\/camaro\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">Chevy Camaro<\/a> ZL1 will be joining the Speed Champions line. Both are scheduled for an August 2024 release.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first time Lego has produced a Ferrari F40 set. In 2015, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2015\/12\/10\/lego-ferrari-f40-time-lapse-video\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">large-scale F40 kit<\/a> from the more advanced Creator Expert line came in at 1,158 pieces and a $99.99 price tag, and was designed for ages 14 and up. The Speed Champions kits are smaller, usually between 200 and 400 pieces. They typically retail for $26.99 and are designed for ages 9 and up.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In 2019 Lego released a 198-piece <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lego.com\/en-us\/product\/ferrari-f40-competizione-75890\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">Speed Champions kit of the Ferrari F40 Competizione<\/a>, a more powerful track-prepped version of the F40 road car with only 10 built. Perhaps the most obscure Lego F40 of them all is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2012\/08\/18\/lego-creates-six-mini-ferrari-models-for-shell\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">Shell filling station promotion from Hong Kong<\/a> that offered one of six Ferraris when you topped off your tank in 2012.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chevrolet\/camaro\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Camaro<\/a> is also the third iteration of <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chevrolet\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Chevrolet&#8217;s<\/a> Next Gen <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/nascar\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">NASCAR<\/a> Cup racer. In 2019 Lego released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lego.com\/en-us\/product\/chevrolet-camaro-zl1-race-car-75891\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">193-piece Speed Champions kit<\/a>, and currently there&#8217;s a more advanced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lego.com\/en-us\/product\/nascar-next-gen-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-42153\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">672-piece Technic NASCAR Camaro ZL1<\/a> set available for $49.99.<\/p>\n<p>To be honest the new 328-piece Camaro kit doesn&#8217;t look all that Camaro-y. It could be any generic car if it weren&#8217;t for the headlights and windshield banner, both of which are stickers. The 318-piece F40, on the other hand, is an unmistakable representation of Ferrari&#8217;s 80s <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/category\/supercars\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:10;\">supercar<\/a>.
