Ram showed one on its <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138358_ram-1500-bev-concept-electric-pickup-bows-with-three-row-seating\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1500 Revolution BEV concept<\/a><\/strong> unveiled during 2023 CES. Mercedes-Benz also had one on 2022&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135369_up-close-with-the-mercedes-benz-vision-eqxx-slipping-into-a-not-so-distant-future\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vision EQXX concept<\/a>. However, an active diffuser that doubles as a step hasn&#8217;t reached production just yet.<\/p>\n<p>According to the patent, the bottom surface of the step would be shaped to act as a diffuser, while the top would be a flat surface that serves as a step.
