A young visual artist put together some Tesla Model Y refresh renders that look like they could be pretty close to what the actual upcoming new version of the popular electric SUV will look like.<\/p>\n

After the Model 3 refresh launched last year, we have been expecting a Model Y refresh to follow.<\/p>\n

It started last year with a Reuters report claiming\u00a0Tesla was planning a Model Y refresh called Juniper for<\/a><\/span> 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Later, a Bloomberg report added that\u00a0Tesla planned to release a Model Y refresh in \u201cmid-2024\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tesla has shut does rumor down. Tesla and CEO Elon Musk have stated that\u00a0Tesla doesn\u2019t plan to refresh the Model Y \u201cthis year.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0It\u2019s important to note that both Tesla and Musk specifically mentioned \u201cthis year\u201d when trying to shut down rumors of a new Model Y.<\/p>\n

It led many to think that a refresh is coming, but for early next year.<\/p>\n

Sure enough, we have started to\u00a0spot camouflaged Model Y prototypes around<\/a>\u00a0California in the last month, a<\/span>nd more recently, a leak revealed\u00a0a few new design aspects that are\u00a0coming to the Model Y refresh<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Dominic<\/a>, a young visual artist from Germany, used this recent leak to produce renders of the new Model Y:<\/p>\n

We can see how the rear lightbar seen on the leak changes the look of the back of the Model Y.<\/p>\n

The front end is sharper, inspired by the Model 3 refresh. It also features its own lightbar to match the backend, but it\u2019s not clear if that is going to make it. <\/p>\n
