With a second motor powering the front axle, this version of the i5 is rated at 389 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. BMW lists a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The sportier i5 M60 still sits at the top of the lineup with an $85,275 price tag before options. The M60 also uses a dual-motor powertrain, but with 590 hp and 586 lb-ft of torque. EPA range ratings haven&#8217;t been released yet, but for reference the 2024 i5 was <strong>rated at up to 295 miles<\/strong> in entry-level eDrive40 form, 266 miles in xDrive40 form, and 253 miles in M60 guise. The highest range ratings for each variant apply to specific wheel and tire combinations.<\/p>\n<p>Gas versions of the 5-Series also return for 2025, and a new M5 joins the lineup with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1143631_2025-bmw-m5-price\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">717-hp plug-in hybrid powertrain<\/a>. The M5 sedan was unveiled in June and arrives in the U.S. later this year with a $120,675 base price.
