The world\u2019s largest EV battery maker is transforming how we experience electric vehicles. CATL<\/a>\u00a0opened the \u201cworld\u2019s first\u201d EV experience center this weekend in China, showcasing nearly 100 models from 50 <\/span>brands. Visitors can \u201cview, select, use, and learn\u201d about EVs powered by CATL\u2019s advanced batteries, including Tesla, Volkswagen, and NIO models.<\/p>\n

CATL\u2019s new EV experience site shows Tesla, VW models<\/h2>\n

CATL celebrated the opening of its NING Space, calling it \u201cthe world\u2019s first new energy experience center\u201d on August 10th.<\/p>\n

The site in Chengdu was brought to life with the help of the local government and several auto manufacturers. CATL said the new NING Space<\/a> is designed as an all-encompassing EV experience for buyers to \u201cview, select, use, and learn\u201d about electric vehicles.<\/p>\n

CATL\u2019s new EV experience center features nearly 100 models from 50 different brands like Tesla, Volkswagen, and NIO.<\/p>\n

Tesla\u2019s Model Y<\/a> and 3, NIO\u2019s ET5 and ET5 Touring, and Volkswagen\u2019s ID.4 and ID.6 models for China are among the many on display.<\/p>\n

CATL believes the nearly 140,000 sq ft (13,000-square-meter) showroom will help \u201caccelerate the global transition to e-mobility.\u201d The site is the first time the battery giant has a dedicated retail showroom to engage with customers.<\/p>\n

Accelerating EV adoption while securing leadership<\/h2>\n

Although it\u2019s not designed to sell vehicles, the center will have EV experts available to answer questions and give recommendations.<\/p>\n

The site will promote EVs with CATL\u2019s latest battery tech while teaching the history and progress. Science workshops will also be held regularly to help users of all ages explore and learn more about green tech and EVs.<\/p>\n
