{"id":75618,"date":"2024-08-13T09:03:43","date_gmt":"2024-08-13T13:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=75618"},"modified":"2024-08-13T09:03:43","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T13:03:43","slug":"1144114_2025-lincoln-navigator-teased-debuts-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=75618","title":{"rendered":"2025 Lincoln Navigator teased, debuts soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lincoln is close to revealing a redesigned Navigator, and the automaker on Tuesday provided a preview in the form of a teaser video featuring glimpses of the new full-size SUV.<\/p>\n<p>The current fourth-generation Navigator arrived for the 2018 model year and was given a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1133266_2022-lincoln-navigator-price-specs-review-photos-info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">refresh for 2022<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new Navigator debuts on Thursday and should hit showrooms late this year or early next as a 2025 model.<\/p>\n<p>Lincoln hasn&#8217;t provided any details but the teaser video reveals details like an illuminated logo mounted in the grille, a simplified design for the steering wheel, and a center console with push-button gear selection and a crystal glass rotary dial.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vWFaCLACDdw?si=4RrsI9TJcc3ygObN\" width=\"560\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Though touted as a redesign by Lincoln, the new Navigator is likely to be more of a major update of the current Navigator, meaning the platform and powertrain are likely to carry over mostly unchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The 2024 Navigator\u2019s sole powertrain is a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 that pairs with a 10-speed automatic transmission and powers all four wheels as standard. A hybrid powertrain taken from the related F-150 is possible. The setup combines the twin-turbo V-6 with a single electric motor.<\/p>\n<p>Lincoln had planned to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1135061_lincoln-reportedly-plans-up-to-five-evs-through-2026-including-electric-navigator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launch an electric Navigator<\/a>, with reports pointing to it arriving by the end of 2026.
