Tesla should make this electric van, rendered by a visual artist, based on the Tesla Semi right now. In fact, it should have made it four years ago.<\/p>\n

A Tesla electric van, minibus, or people-mover has been in the works for a long time.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0\u201cTesla Master Plan Part 2<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0CEO Elon Musk talked about two new segments Tesla is looking to electrify:<\/p>\n

In addition to consumer vehicles, there are two other types of electric vehicle needed: heavy-duty trucks and high passenger-density urban transport. Both are in the early stages of development at Tesla and should be ready for unveiling next year. We believe the Tesla Semi will deliver a substantial reduction in the cost of cargo transport, while increasing safety and making it really fun to operate.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That was back in 2016. The automaker did end up unveiling the Tesla Semi, which was plagued with delays, but it is now finally making it to volume production.<\/p>\n

The \u201chigh passenger-density\u201d vehicle was never unveiled.<\/p>\n

Tesla has talked about it several times. There were rumors of Tesla working on one for the Boring Company<\/a>, but if it was true, they have yet to make anything public.<\/p>\n

In 2021, Musk even talked about Tesla building an electric van with a solar-powered deployable roof<\/a>. It also hasn\u2019t happened.<\/p>\n

Now, Dominic Brinkmann<\/a>, a young visual artist from Germany, has imagined what a Tesla electric camper van could look like, and it\u2019s pretty dope:<\/p>\n
