New models are generally more reliable than ever before, but a few names stand out as the most likely to last at least 250,000 miles. A new study from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iseecars.com\/longest-lasting-cars-study\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:0;\"><em>iSeeCars<\/em><\/a> found that the 10 longest-lasting vehicles come mostly from one global automaker, and that company likely won\u2019t surprise you.<\/p>\n<p>The firm looked at data from more than 402 million vehicles, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/calculators\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">calculating<\/a> the average odometer reading to help <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/article\/longest-lasting-cars-trucks-suvs\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">judge longevity.<\/a> <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">Toyota<\/a> and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/lexus\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">Lexus<\/a> dominated the list of projected longest-lasting vehicles, taking seven of the top 10 spots.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">The 10 longest-lasting light-duty vehicles:<\/span><\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/tundra\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Toyota Tundra<\/a>: 36.6% chance of lasting 250,000+ miles<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/sequoia\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Toyota Sequoia<\/a>: 36.4%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/4runner\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">Toyota 4Runner<\/a>: 26.8%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/tacoma\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">Toyota Tacoma<\/a>: 26.7%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/highlander+hybrid\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">Toyota Highlander Hybrid<\/a>: 25.9%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/honda\/ridgeline\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:10;\">Honda Ridgeline<\/a>: 25.8%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chevrolet\/suburban\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:11;\">Chevrolet Suburban<\/a>: 22%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/avalon\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:12;\">Toyota Avalon<\/a>: 22%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/lexus\/gx+460\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:13;\">Lexus GX<\/a>: 20.7%<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/chevrolet\/silverado+1500\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:14;\">Chevrolet Silverado 1500<\/a>: 18.8%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>iSeeCars<\/em> executive analyst Karl Brauer said, \u201cModern vehicles are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/photos\/longest-lasting-used-cars-deals\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:15;\">getting more durable<\/a>, with 30 models offering between a 12 and 26 percent chance of reaching a quarter-million miles. Many consumers still consider a car\u2019s usable lifespan to end at 100,000 miles. But our latest longest-lasting study confirms that even 200,000 miles isn\u2019t the end of the line for many cars. The top nine cars on the list have a better than 20 percent chance of hitting 250,000 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Pickup <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/truck\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:16;\">trucks<\/a> are featured heavily on the list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/photos\/photos-owners-keep-these-15-cars-the-longest\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:17;\">longest-lasting vehicles<\/a>, but breaking the category out and adding heavy-duty trucks shows that the workhorse models might be some of the most durable vehicles around. The <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/dodge\/ram+3500\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:18;\">Ram 3500<\/a> had a 42.6 percent chance of reaching 250,000 miles, followed by the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/tundra\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:19;\">Tundra<\/a>.
