They roll with a limited version of smart summon which could be indicated by the errors we&#8217;re seeing being added. <\/p>\n<p>2. Still lots of work being done. I think this might be very related to the robotaxi event delay.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tesla App Updates (iOS) (@Tesla_App_iOS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Tesla_App_iOS\/status\/1824300250787397642?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 16, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>This would point to Tesla starting to integrate the updated feature inside the mobile app, which is used to activate smart summon in non-vision Tesla vehicles.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-electrek-s-take\">Electrek\u2019s Take<\/h2>\n<p>This is a good example of Tesla\u2019s lateness in developing self-driving features, but on a smaller scale with smart summon or \u201cactually smart summon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We simply can\u2019t give any credibility to Elon\u2019s timelines on that front.<\/p>\n<p>With that said, it\u2019s also possible that Tesla would now be waiting for the October Robotaxi unveiling to present the feature since they are related. <\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
