Also available at launch will be a Pro S Plus and limited-edition 1st Edition priced from $65,045 and $67,045, respectively. All figures include a $1,550 destination charge.<\/p>\n<p>The Pro S only comes with rear-wheel drive while the Pro S Plus and 1st Edition have the option of all-wheel drive. Buyers of the rear-wheel-drive Pro S Plus can add captain&#8217;s chairs for the second row, but in this case it costs $695.<\/p>\n<p>All models come with the same <strong>91-kwh battery<\/strong> that VW said delivers an <strong>EPA-estimated range of 234 miles<\/strong> with rear-wheel drive and 231 miles with all-wheel drive. Rear-wheel-drive ID.Buzz vans have a single motor at the rear rear at 282 hp and all-wheel-drive models have a dual-motor setup rated at 335 hp.<\/p>\n<p>Standard features include 20-inch wheels, powered sliding rear doors on both sides of the vehicle, a power tailgate, a 12.9-inch infotainment screen (together with a 5.3-inch digital gauge cluster), ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, and various electronic driver-assist features including an automated parking system with a function to memorize a parking maneuver.<\/p>\n<p>The Pro S Plus gains more extras as standard including a head-up display, a surround-view camera system, Harmon Kardon premium audio, and more. A panoramic glass roof is available for $1,495. The glass roof is also standard in this case.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. gets the long-wheelbase version of the ID.Buzz as standard, meaning it measures just over 16 feet long (a shorter version is standard overseas). Despite its rectangular shape, it cuts the wind with a relatively low coefficient of drag of just 0.29. As with other ID-badged models, the ID.Buzz also features the ID.Light warning system as standard. This is a thin LED strip stretching across the windshield that provides information via the color and position of the light signal. For example, a red glow is a warning to press the brakes, while a glow on either side can indicate a vehicle in the blind spot or a navigation instruction to change lanes.<\/p>\n<p>Production of the ID.Buzz is handled at a plant in Hanover, Germany.<\/p>\n<p>The ID.Buzz is based on the same Volkswagen Group MEB dedicated EV platform as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1140749_2024-vw-id-4-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ID.4 compact crossover<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1141414_2025-volkswagen-id-7-test-drive-review\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ID.7 midsize hatchback<\/a>.
