As the new tech develops, <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/guides\/nissan\/\">Nissan<\/a> hinted that solid-state batteries could give the electric GT-R even more power.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-377466\"\/><\/p>\n<p>We got our first look at the electric GT-R after Nissan unveiled the <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/10\/24\/nissan-hyper-force-electric-hypercar\/\">Hyper Force EV concept<\/a> last October.<\/p>\n<p>Nissan claimed the electric sports car is a \u201cgame-changing hyper EV\u201d with over 1,000 kW (+1,300 horsepower) of power.<\/p>\n<p>In comparison, Tesla\u2019s most powerful <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/guides\/tesla-cybertruck\/\">Cybertruck<\/a>, the Cyberbeast, can produce up to 845 hp (621 kW).<\/p>\n<p>All that power comes from a new electric powertrain with all-solid-state batteries. Nissan also developed the exterior with its NISMO racing team for maximum aerodynamics. Not anytime soon.
