One will be an electric version of the Formentor compact crossover <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1126439_review-2021-cupra-formentor-price-photos-specs-info\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whose current generation<\/a> is based on the outgoing global Volkswagen Tiguan. The second will be a larger SUV to be built in North America.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The Terramar is unlikely to make the trip but it provides an indication of what the <strong>U.S.-bound Cupras<\/strong> might be like. The vehicle introduces the latest evolution of the brand&#8217;s design language, as well as technologies normally reserved for premium vehicles, such as high-definition matrix LED headlights, a head-up display, <strong>and Sennheiser audio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Terramar is closely related to the latest version of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1139961_vw-reveals-new-generation-of-global-tiguan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">global Volkswagen Tiguan<\/a> that debuted late last year. The U.S. will get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1142380_2025-volkswagen-tayron-tiguan-spy-shots\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">its own Tiguan<\/a> using the same platform as those vehicles later this year. Deliveries in markets were Cupra operates start late this year.<\/p>\n<p>Cupra started out life as a performance sub-brand of fellow VW Group brand SEAT, but in 2018 it was repostioned as a standalone brand offering a range of sporty, emotional vehicles with striking design.
