The prototype was fitted with <strong>four individual seats split over two rows<\/strong>, a configuration popular with chauffeur-driven vehicles in parts of Asia, namely China.<\/p>\n<p>The SUV in our spy shots features conventional doors, while the Neolun concept came with coach-style doors at the rear and also skipped a B-pillar.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YU8CcTg0-rQ?si=4tpQpkkbteAqx5zs\" width=\"560\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\">[embedded content]<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Neolun name is a portmanteau of the Greek neo and Latin luna, <strong>which translates to \u201cnew moon.\u201d<\/strong> It&#8217;s meant to signify Genesis&#8217; aim of delivering technological innovation in its future vehicles, the automaker said at the concept&#8217;s reveal.<\/p>\n<p>One of the innovations the GV90 is expected to usher in is Hyundai Motor Group&#8217;s <strong>next-generation EV platform<\/strong>, known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1135204_hyundai-brands-to-use-new-ev-platform-with-standardized-batteries-and-motors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IMA (Integrated Modular Architecture)<\/a>. The new platform is an evolution of the current E-GMP design used by Hyundai Motor Group, but whereas the E-GMP has different battery systems for each vehicle it supports, the IMA will have a standardized battery.
