Toyota teases a new EV ahead of its debut in March<\/h2>\n

Toyota dropped the first teaser on Tuesday for its \u201cexciting and surprising\u201d new EV, giving us a closer look at the upcoming model.<\/p>\n

Toyota is looking to shake things up with this one. The teaser image reveals a crossover coupe-like profile with a sweeping hood line. In the video, you can see additional design elements like a rear lightbar across the back and Toyota\u2019s new \u201chammerhead\u201d front face styling<\/a>, similar to the 2025 Camry.<\/p>\n

Despite its compact look, Toyota claims the new EV has \u201csurprising space\u201d and versatility, hinting at a crossover SUV.<\/p>\n

The new model is likely the production version of the bZ Compact Crossover<\/a> from 2022. It will join the bZ4X and new Urban Cruiser SUVs in Toyota\u2019s European electric car lineup. Although no other details were revealed, it\u2019s expected to sit between them.<\/p>\n
