XCharge North America (XCharge NA) is making it easier for drivers to pay for EV charging with its first Virtual Point of Sale (VPOS) system launch. <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This follows the company\u2019s recent rollout of GridLink, a tool designed to integrate EV charging with the North American grid.<\/p>\n

Every new XCharge charger will come with VPOS pre-installed, and existing charger customers can get the update remotely \u2013 no extra hardware is required. The VPOS system runs payments through the SaaS platform Stripe and allows drivers to pay using Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or a standard credit or debit card \u2013 no app is needed. <\/p>\n

Unlike many other EV charging systems, XCharge NA\u2019s VPOS adds an extra layer of security with a dynamic on-screen QR code that changes regularly to prevent phishing and fraud. An optional PIN code also secures the charging session and prevents interruptions.<\/p>\n

XCharge NA\u2019s chargers offer real-time charging metrics, full data logging, and transaction tracking, plus remote monitoring and diagnostics, so XCharge can fix issues remotely. There\u2019s also seamless integration with XCharge hardware and support teams on hand.<\/p>\n
