Velocity Invitational has decided to postpone its 2025 event at Sonoma Raceway, originally set for June 6th-8th. With the current economic climate making things tricky behind the scenes, organizers felt it was the right move to skip this year and focus on coming back strong in 2026. Jeff O\u2019Neill, the event\u2019s founder, said the decision wasn\u2019t easy but needed to make sure the experience lives up to what fans expect. For those who already bought tickets, there are options: you can either get a full refund or hang onto them for the 2026 event. If you choose to hold onto your tickets, you\u2019ll get a $50 credit per adult pass to use on-site when the event returns. The team also mentioned they\u2019re working on some alternative ways to stay connected with the car community in 2025, so it won\u2019t be completely quiet until next year.
