The first stations are expected to go live in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Now, if you\u2019ve ever been on a road trip through the South, you already know Waffle House is always open. Like, always. The lights are on 24\/7, even during hurricanes and major storms. There\u2019s actually something called the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wafflehouse.com\/how-to-measure-a-storms-fury-one-breakfast-at-a-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Waffle House Index<\/a>\u201d used by FEMA and emergency responders to gauge how bad a storm is.
