The bespoke quad-motor <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/rivian\/r1s\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">R1S<\/a>\u00a0Pebble Beach has no reserve and is expected to fetch over $130,000 during Broad Arrow\u2019s auction at the Monterey Jet Center.<\/p>\n<p>The guts of this exclusive R1S are identical to the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/767028\/rivian-quad-motor-lockers\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22767028%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22rivian-quad-motor-lockers%22%7D\">quad-motor EV that anyone can buy<\/a>: four electric motors that output no fewer than 1,025 horsepower and 1,198 pound-feet of torque. That\u2019s enough oomph to catapult the American-made SUV from zero to 60 miles per hour in 2.6 seconds. Rivian says it made this one-off EV for everyone who appreciates the seamless integration of performance, capability and artistry.<\/p>\n<p>On the outside, the Pebble Beach one-off has a unique paint dubbed Monterey Silver, which was inspired by a typical morning over Monterey Bay\u2013as in, how the sun shines over it. The same discreet blue was used as a subtle accent in the badging. The door sill plates were also custom-etched, while the custom-forged 22-inch wheels with an exclusive three-tone finish designed solely for this edition finish the exterior.<\/p>\n<p>The interior of the one-of-a-kind R1S was designed as a modern coastal sanctuary. At least, that\u2019s what Rivian says. This means there\u2019s a bunch of Pebble Stone-inspired Adventex upholstery, soft-touch materials, cork blended textiles and textured wood accents throughout the cabin.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, a unique gradient inspired by the way the sun fades into the Pacific horizon was applied on the speaker grilles, key, floor mats and door-integrated flashlight. The teal blue, vivid red and golden yellow gradient finish is also the signature touch of Rivian\u2019s Adventure Department, the California startup\u2019s skunkworks team.<\/p>\n<p>If unique Rivians are your thing, then you should check out tomorrow\u2019s auction.
