As the first EV from its new performance sub-brand, the Genesis GV60 Magma will debut with enhanced power, advanced suspension, a sporty new design, and more. For the first time, it was caught on video racing around the N\u00fcrburgring, giving us our closest look yet.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-431669\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-genesis-gv60-magma-ev-flexes-new-style-at-nurburgring\">Genesis GV60 Magma EV flexes new style at N\u00fcrburgring<\/h2>\n<p>We got our <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2024\/03\/26\/genesis-unveils-stunning-full-size-electric-suv-neolun-concept\/\">first look at the new Magma models<\/a> last March at the NY Auto Show alongside the full-size Neolun concept. <\/p>\n<p>Magma is \u201cthe brand\u2019s expansion into the realm of high-performance vehicles,\u201d Genesis boasted. Among the first vehicles to earn a Magma upgrade is the GV60.<\/p>\n<p>Genesis fine-tuned the electric crossover SUV, giving it a wider and lower stance for improved control. The larger lower air intake contributes to the aggressive new look, while also serving to cool the batteries and motor, both of which have been upgraded for enhanced performance.<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\">Advertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, we got a good look at the GV60 Magma <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2025\/03\/05\/genesis-gv60-magma-spotted-alongside-porsche-taycan-video\/\">during winter testing<\/a> in Europe.
