In GM\u2019s case, the entry-level <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/chevrolet\/equinox-ev\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Chevrolet Equinox EV<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/chevrolet\/blazer-ev\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Blazer EV<\/a> are topping the sales charts, while the huge GMC Hummer EV and GMC Sierra EV are firmly toward the bottom of the list.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But it\u2019s not just GM that has this problem. <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/ford\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Ford<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Tesla<\/a> are seeing more of the same, with interest in the battery-powered F-150 Lightning and Cybertruck being far from what was envisioned a few years ago. Collectively, all automakers sold about <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/769121\/american-electric-pickup-truck-bust\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22769121%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22american-electric-pickup-truck-bust%22%7D\">35,000 electric pickups<\/a> in the United States in the first half of 2025, according to market research firm AutoForecast Solutions.
