Two one-offs sat quietly inside, waiting for their big reveal: one electric, one petrol, both carrying MINI\u2019s John Cooper Works badge and Deus\u2019 signature raw design.<\/p>\n<h3>From Rally Stages to Street Experiments<\/h3>\n<p>MINI\u2019s competition story is well known. Wins at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2024\/01\/20\/mini-cooper-s-monte-carlo-rally\/\">Monte Carlo in the 1960s<\/a>, a famous 1-2-3 finish in \u201966, and a string of strong results cemented the Cooper S as a motorsport underdog that regularly embarrassed bigger rivals. These new concepts tap into that past, but filter it through Deus\u2019 surf and motorcycle culture. Semi-transparent fiberglass panels drop the weight and catch light in unexpected ways. Based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2025\/04\/11\/minis-hot-hatch-grows-up-first-drive-of-the-2025-mini-john-cooper-works-hardtop\/\">petrol F66 JCW<\/a>, it makes 231 horsepower and wears its rally inspiration proudly. Neither is headed for production. They\u2019re experiments, blending MINI\u2019s motorsport roots with Deus\u2019 workshop style. Earlier this year, the partnership also produced a livery for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2025\/06\/22\/mini-jcw-nurburgring-2024-sp3t-podium\/\">Bulldog Racing\u2019s N\u00fcrburgring entry<\/a>, which ended up on the podium.<\/p>\n<h3>What\u2019s Next at IAA<\/h3>\n<p>Alongside these two, MINI will show the Aceman SE and Countryman SE ALL4 as part of its growing electric lineup.
