The RAV4 and Land Cruiser EVs are set to replace a luxury Lexus model as <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/guides\/toyota\/\">Toyota<\/a> shifts production plans.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-433652\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-when-will-toyota-launch-the-rav4-and-land-cruiser-evs\">When will Toyota launch the RAV4 and Land Cruiser EVs?<\/h2>\n<p>We knew Toyota was up to something. Reports have been surfacing for months about its plans to build new electric SUVs in Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p>Toyota confirmed earlier this year that it \u201cplans to produce two all-new, three-row battery electric SUVs in the US.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although it initially planned to build them at its manufacturing plant in Princeton, Indiana, the automaker <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2025\/07\/31\/toyota-highlander-finally-getting-ev-coming-soon\/\">announced last month<\/a> that both will now be assembled at Toyota Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\">Advertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/asia.nikkei.com\/business\/automobiles\/toyota-to-consolidate-lexus-production-in-us-boost-hybrid-output\">new <em>Nikkei<\/em> report<\/a>, the two new EVs will be based on the Toyota RAV4 and Land Cruiser.
