This one\u2019s for the U.S. market, and it pays tribute to one of BMW\u2019s most legendary small performance cars\u2014the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2023\/01\/13\/bmw-2002-turbo-celebrates-its-50th-birthday\/\">1973 BMW 2002 turbo<\/a>, the company\u2019s first turbocharged production model.<\/p>\n<p>BMW sticks with a single color choice\u2014Alpine White\u2014and gives the coupe hand-painted M stripes that stretch across the hood, sides, and trunk lid. The black hood bulge carries a reversed \u201cturbo\u201d script in a nod to the original\u2019s mirror lettering, while a turbo badge sits proudly beneath the M2 emblem at the rear.
