After 40 years, duPont REGISTRY\u2019s cover cars capture moments in automotive history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year, duPont REGISTRY, the source for supercars since 1985, is celebrating its 40th anniversary. In that time, some of the world\u2019s most desirable, iconic, and influential luxury and exotic cars have graced the cover of our magazine over the past 40 years, and together, the cover cars of duPont REGISTRY\u2019s hundreds of monthly issues tell a story of automotive history and its evolution since the \u201880s.<\/p>\n

Looking back at duPont REGISTRY\u2019s cover cars from the year 2020, recent memory shows some moments in automotive history that will undoubtedly soon be remembered as iconic and impactful. A unique year for the entire world, 2020 brought on a pandemic that was being challenged across the globe, but that didn\u2019t stop the automotive industry from making big strides, or duPont REGISTRY from showcasing them. February \u2013 Marshall Goldman Inventory<\/h2>\n

Our February 2020 cover featured a spotlight of some of the best cars in the expansive inventory of Marshall Goldman<\/a>, including the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster, the McLaren P1, the Porsche Carrera GT, the Lexus LFA N\u00fcrburgring Edition, and many more.<\/p>\n

The C8 Corvette<\/a> was a game-changing addition to the Corvette\u2019s legacy as an all-American performance car, wtih a mid-engined layout that catapulted it into supercar status at long last. Hennessey\u2019s anticipated take on it was the cover star of our June 2020 issue.<\/p>\n

Drako Motors is known for its ambitious and incredibly powerful all electric models, including the quad-motor, 1,200-horsepower GTE which was featured on our September 2020 cover. Unfathomable back then, many manufacturers have since emerged with EVs that boast over 1,000 horsepower.<\/p>\n
