She previously held senior roles at the OPA and IESO, including leading Ontario\u2019s Pathways to Decarbonization initiative. Julia serves on the Toronto District 2030 board, the Building Decarbonization Alliance Steering Committee, and co-directs the Energy and Infrastructure LLM program at Osgoode Hall. She holds degrees from SOAS University of London, the University of Toronto, and Cambridge University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laurie Swami, President and CEO, Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Laurie Swami has been leading Canada\u2019s long-term plan for managing used nuclear fuel since 2016. She previously spent 30 years at Ontario Power Generation, including serving as Senior Vice-President of Decommissioning and Nuclear Waste Management. She holds a B.Sc. in Engineering Chemistry from Queen\u2019s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. A strong advocate for women in leadership, she received the Women in Nuclear Canada Leadership Award in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe Zenobio, President &amp; CEO, Call2Recycle Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Joe Zenobio leads strategy, stakeholder engagement, and organizational culture at the country\u2019s largest non-profit battery collection and recycling organization. He brings extensive experience in multi-stakeholder collaboration, government and consumer relations, and executive leadership. Previously, he held senior roles at GS1 US and GS1 Canada, working across commerce, supply-chain standards, and value-chain innovation. Joe holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thank You to Outgoing Board Members<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plug\u2019n Drive extends its sincere appreciation to <strong>Frank D\u2019Andrea<\/strong> (Hydro One), <strong>Amanda Klein<\/strong> (Elexicon Energy), <strong>Jeff Parnell<\/strong> (Power Workers\u2019 Union), and <strong>Mike Rencheck<\/strong> (Bruce Power) for their valuable contributions and leadership during their tenure on the Board.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur board members play a vital role in shaping Plug\u2019n Drive\u2019s impact and direction,\u201d said <strong>Cara Clairman<\/strong>, President and CEO of Plug\u2019n Drive. \u201cWe are tremendously grateful to Frank, Amanda, Jeff and Mike for their contributions.
