Polo. With its official debut just around the corner, we are finally getting our first look at the revamped interior.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-449370\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-volkswagen-shares-first-look-at-the-id-polo-interior\">Volkswagen shares first look at the ID. Polo interior<\/h2>\n<p>The ID.Polo \u201cmarks the beginning of a new generation of Volkswagen,\u201d according to VW brand boss Thomas Sch\u00e4fer, and that includes an all-new interior look.<\/p>\n<p>It will be the first of four new entry-level EVs, starting this spring. We got a <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2023\/12\/22\/volkswagen-reveals-spacious-interior-27000-id-2all-ev\/\">sneak peek of the interior<\/a> over two years ago through the ID 2all concept, a preview of the upcoming electric Polo.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen\u2019s head of design, Andreas Mindt, posted a video on social media, saying that \u201cThe future of Volkswagen interiors has arrived in the ID 2all concept car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t<span class=\"outbrain-ad-label\">Advertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The entry-level EV is about the same size as the gas-powered Polo (4,053 mm in length, 1,816 mm in width, and 1,530 mm in height), but thanks to compact drive modules and a flat battery pack design, the ID. It won\u2019t be for much longer.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen shared <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DTAKHHjjTzL\/\">a video<\/a> of ID. Polo interior on Friday, offering a first look at the new design language. Although it\u2019s just a preview with most of the infotainment system, steering wheel, and front dash still covered, the caption reads \u201cA first look inside. Clear lines. More space to breathe. A cockpit designed around you. The concept featured an updated infotainment system with a 12\u2033 central touchscreen and 11\u2033 driver display screens. It will launch this spring with three power outputs: 85 kW (114 hp), 99 kW (133 hp), and 155 kW (208 hp). A high-performance GTI version will follow later in 2026, delivering 166 kW (223 hp).<\/p>\n<p>The 85 kW and 99 kW variants will use a 37 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Meanwhile, the 155 kW and 166 kW models will be equipped with a 52 kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt (NMC) battery, delivering up to 450 km (280 miles) of WLTP driving range.<\/p>\n<p>Although the ID. <span>Polo will start at 25,000 euros ($29,500), according to the German newspap<\/span>er\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.handelsblatt.com\/unternehmen\/industrie\/volkswagen-idpolo-25000-euro-auto-zunaechst-nicht-fuer-25000-euro-bestellbar-01\/100186088.html\">Handelsblatt<\/a><\/em>, which\u00a0reported that the cheapest ID. Polo model likely won\u2019t be available when it launches this spring.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen will unveil the ID. Polo interior in full tomorrow, January 3, 2026, at 12:00 CET.
