And General Motors is planning more chargers within communities. This and more, here at <em>Green Car Reports.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">GM is looking to its network of franchised dealers for some direction on how to expand Level 2 charging access to local communities. Through a program announced Tuesday it\u2019s making up to 10 chargers available to each of its 4,500 dealerships, as part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1133974_gm-is-looking-to-its-dealerships-to-deploy-destination-chargers-in-communities\">buildout that will bring 40,000 more L2 charging connectors<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Panasonic is reportedly preparing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1133972_panasonic-to-make-4680-cells-for-tesla-in-2022\">to make 4680-format cells for Tesla next year<\/a>, with test production coming as soon as March 2022, according to a report. The 4680 cells were at the center of last year\u2019s Battery Day presentation and are one of the essentials for upcoming products like the Semi and Cybertruck.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Canoo has announced that its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1133982_canoo-lifestyle-vehicle-will-get-panasonic-cylindrical-cells-for-its-structural-battery-approach?pvtoken=1635264055\">Lifestyle Vehicle will get Panasonic cylindrical cells<\/a>, as part of its structural battery that uses cells packed into integrated modules.
