new colors were revealed in Tesla\u2019s latest mobile app update.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-208313\"\/><ins class=\"adsbygoogle author_ad\" data-ad-host=\"ca-host-pub-5506057612223327\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4655152367470280\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"\/>\n\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Tesla buyers have been teased about new factory colors for years now, but it might finally happen soon.<\/p>\n<p>Back in the early days of the Model S, Tesla used to offer a variety of colors, but the automaker decided to streamline options, and it now offers only a handful of color options that have remained the same for the last few years.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Elon Musk has been talking about Tesla finally releasing new colors, but it has been linked to a new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2020\/04\/14\/tesla-multi-layered-paint-model-y-advanced-paint-shop-giga-berlin\/\">\u201cmost-advanced paint shop\u201d at Gigafactory Berlin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO talked about new multi-layered paints:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201c<em>Giga Berlin will have world\u2019s most advanced paint shop, with more layers of stunning colors that subtly change with curvature.<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Musk said that Tesla is working on a new \u201cdeep crimson red\u201d that is becoming his favorite feature.<\/p>\n<p>The color was<a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2020\/07\/28\/elon-musk-tesla-model-s-prototype-color\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0spotted on Musk\u2019s personal Model S<\/a>\u00a0last year \u2013 pictured above.<\/p>\n<p>It was also <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2021\/06\/08\/tesla-deep-crimson-color-spotted-on-a-model-s-body-fremont-factory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spotted on a Model S body at Tesla\u2019s Fremont factory<\/a> earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p>Now we learn of new colors coming to Tesla vehicles thanks to some internet sleuths snooping the \u2018Deep Crimson\u2019 previously announced by Musk:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deep Crimson Multicoat<\/li>\n<li>Abyss Blue Multicoat<\/li>\n<li>Mercury Silver Metallic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A Twitter user going by \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tesla_adri\/status\/1453046432802476043\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tesla_Adri<\/a>\u2018 produced a visual representation of the question is when those colors will be available and on which models.
