{"id":9112,"date":"2021-10-28T00:06:38","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T04:06:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/auto\/?p=9112"},"modified":"2021-10-28T00:06:38","modified_gmt":"2021-10-28T04:06:38","slug":"epa-volkswagen-id4-awd-range","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=9112","title":{"rendered":"EPA Lists Volkswagen ID.4 AWD Range Ratings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/volkswagen\/id-4\/\">Volkswagen ID.4<\/a> AWD&#8217;s range and efficiency numbers were <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/533041\/volkswagen-id4-awd-epa-range\/\">released by the manufacturer a few weeks ago<\/a>, but today they were listed on the EPA&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n<p>The car is able to go up to 240-249 miles (386-401 km) on a single charge according to the EPA, which is only a few percent less than the rear-wheel-drive version.<\/p>\n<section contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/2021-volkswagen-id4-awd-pro-19-epa-rating-img.png\" alt=\"external_image\"\/><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>Unfortunately, the EPA&#8217;s documents lack the City and Highway range ratings (<a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/543701\/porsche-taycan-cross-turismo-epa\/\">just like in the case of the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo<\/a>), that were previously included (up until this year, when sometimes they are not).<\/p>\n<p>We are a little bit disappointed, because the Highway values are usually closer to InsideEVs&#8217; 70 mph range test results. The RWD version was rated at 230.2-237.1 miles (Highway), so the AWD maybe will be at 220-227 miles (10 less).<\/p>\n<div class=\"table-wrapper\">\n<table>\n<tbody readability=\"3\">\n<tr
