{"id":9134,"date":"2021-10-28T09:04:24","date_gmt":"2021-10-28T13:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/auto\/?p=9134"},"modified":"2021-10-28T09:04:24","modified_gmt":"2021-10-28T13:04:24","slug":"nissan-introduces-interest-free-monthly-payments-for-aftersales-services-via-bumper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=9134","title":{"rendered":"Nissan introduces interest-free monthly payments for aftersales services via Bumper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan dealers can\u00a0offer aftersales customers the option of interest-free payments for servicing and repair work\u00a0as part of the brand&#8217;s\u00a0new partnership with Bumper.<\/p>\n<p>The flexible finance\u00a0service will be available across Nissan&#8217;s 194-strong dealer network.<\/p>\n<p>It follows the launch of Bumper\u2019s Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) digital payment platform at West Way, the UK\u2019s largest Nissan dealer group.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be partnering with Bumper to provide the option of more flexible payment options to aftersales customers across the UK,\u201d said Chris Marsh, aftersales director at Nissan.<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe ability for our customers to split their bills into affordable interest-free monthly payments will further enhance the customer experience and innovation offered by our retailers. We have already seen great outcomes for dealer workshops using the Bumper platform, with an average transaction of \u00a3670 on a typical six year-old-car \u2013 a key target area for our retailers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bumper\u2019s service is available from now to all participating Nissan dealers, with customers given the opportunity to split their aftersales bills \u2013 including accessories, maintenance and MOT work \u2013 over monthly instalments.<\/p>\n<p>Jack Allman, CCO of Bumper, said: \u201cWorking with Nissan, as its sole recommended supplier of BNPL, will provide owners with greater flexibility in how they pay for aftersales work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe provision of BNPL in workshops is still a relatively new concept which is resonating with customers as it removes the need for them to find cash to pay for work or use a credit card.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis flexibility is also enabling aftersales departments to retain customers and sell unbudgeted work that might otherwise prove difficult.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bumper has also partnered with Ford, Volkswagen Group and Jaguar Land Rover as well as Arnold Clark and CitNOW.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan dealers can\u00a0offer aftersales customers the option of interest-free payments for servicing and repair work\u00a0as part of the brand&#8217;s\u00a0new partnership with Bumper.
