With 40% more power from its motors, a one-pedal driving mode, more off-road modes, and a big 20-kwh battery pack potentially allowing a range around 40 miles, it\u2019s looking like serious competition for the 42-mile Toyota RAV4 Prime.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Pickup buyers love accessories, and GMC sees buyers of the upcoming Hummer EV as no exception. It\u2019s planned a line of nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134012_2022-gmc-hummer-ev-will-offer-nearly-200-accessories-many-planned-alongside-electric-truck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">200 accessories for the brawny electric trucks<\/a>, some developed alongside them.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">An expanded EV tax credit of up to $12,500 has made it near the finish line with a provision that makes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134010_12-500-ev-tax-credit-union-built-bonus-biden-congress\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">union labor necessary to get the maximum amount<\/a>. The Biden administration included that in a Thursday release of a Build Back Better framework it sees as able to pass both houses of Congress.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And over at The Car Connection: The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thecarconnection.com\/overview\/kia_sportage_2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2023 Kia Sportage<\/a> is larger and more distinctly styled, with off-road-themed versions in the mix.
