Plug’n Drive Brings Cross-Canada EV Tour to Trois-Rivières with Free Test Drives and a Big Prize from RBC – Plug’n Drive Canada


From October 9–26, Test Drive EVs, Talk to Experts, and Enter a Contest to Win 250,000 RBC Avion Points

Trois-Rivières, QC October 7, 2025 – After its stop in Québec City, Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour is headed to Trois-Rivières with its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) and a fleet of new electric vehicles (EVs) to offer no-pressure test drives.

MEET Trois-Rivières, hosted by CAA-Québec, will give local drivers the chance to get behind the wheel of various all-electric vehicles as well as plug-in hybrids, including electric pickups and SUVs. Drivers will be able to speak with local EV owners about what it’s like to drive an EV year-round – an invaluable resource for EV-curious consumers.

When you visit MEET Trois-Rivières and test drive an electric vehicle, you can enter the EVs are for EVeryone Tour Contest, presented by RBC, our National Champion Sponsor. On November 24, 2025, two lucky winners — one from Eastern Canada and one from Western Canada — will each receive 250,000 Avion points, enough to redeem for an electric scooter and more.

Every Thursday to Sunday between October 9 and October 26, MEET Trois-Rivières will be hosted at Voyages CAA-Québec, 4085 Bd. des Récollets, Trois-Rivières, QC  G9A 6M1. Test drives will be available from 10 am to 5 pm during those days. Online reservations for MEET Trois-Rivières are recommended, though walk ups are welcome as well. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license.

“Drivers in Québec have been at the forefront of EV adoption in Canada, and we’re happy at CAA-Québec to be able to support all drivers in the province to be able to choose the cleanest and most efficient vehicle that works for them,” said CAA-Québec Vice President of Mobility Services Pierre-Serge Labbé. “Bringing EVs to drivers for test drives and information on the different types of EVs available is another way we aim to support drivers, whether they drive in town or rural areas or both.”

MEET Trois-Rivières is the ninth Eastern MEET of Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour in 2025.

  • 2025 Tesla Model Y (Long-Range) – Battery Electric SUV
  • 2024 Volvo EX40 – Battery Electric SUV

CAA-Québec will have two of their own EV Ambassadors onsite, alongside others from the Association des véhicules électriques du Québec (AVÉQ), to help coordinate test drives, and answer questions on local EV and charging experiences.

  • Thursday October 9 to Sunday October 12, 2025, 10 am-5 pm
  • Thursday October 16 to Sunday October 19, 2025, 10 am-5 pm
  • Thursday October 23 to Sunday October 26, 2025, 10 am-5 pm

If you don’t have a license or do not wish to drive the vehicles, our EV Ambassadors can do the driving. Children eight and older can be a passenger if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
