After Seven Months and 19 Stops Across Canada, the Final MEET Event is happening in Québec
Saint-Jérôme, QC October 23, 2025 – After seven months and 19 separate events located on both coasts and many points in between, Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour is headed to Saint-Jérôme with its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) and a fleet of new electric vehicles (EVs), offering free test drives in the area.
MEET Saint-Jérôme will be the tenth stop on the Eastern leg of the national tour. Each stop provides local drivers the chance to try various all-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids, including electric pickups and SUVs. Drivers will also be able to speak with local EV owners about what it’s like to drive an EV year-round – an invaluable resource for EV-curious consumers.
Visitors to MEET Saint-Jérôme who test drive at least one EV will be able to scan a code or visit the contest page to win 250,000 RBC Avion points thanks to the Tour’s National Champion sponsor, RBC.
“Hands-on experience is important in any large purchasing decision,” said Annie Laurin, Regional President, Regional Vice President, Laval and Laurentides at RBC. “This tour is a tangible way to help Canadians understand the benefits of driving an EV up-front as they consider switching to electric transportation.”
MEET Saint-Jérôme will be hosted by the Tour’s Site Sponsor, NexDrive Powered by NAPA, at NAPA AUTOPRO – Garage EMP, 128 Boul. Roland-Godard, Saint-Jérôme, QC J7Y 4P7.
“It has been a pleasure to support Plug’n Drive’s MEET events across Canada, and especially in Québec, which has been a leader in EV adoption not just in Canada but arguably in North America,” said Yves Racette, Director of NAPA’s High Voltage/NexDrive development program. “Our NexDrive and NAPA shops are proud to host these events and meet customers who are curious about the increasingly electrified vehicles of the future, regardless of what they currently drive.”
As the official Touring Sponsor for Québec, CAA-Québec is helping to bring electric vehicle education and test drives to communities across the province. At MEET Saint-Jérôme, CAA-Québec’s own EV Ambassadors will be on site to guide visitors through EV test drives, answer questions, and share expert insights on the benefits of going electric.
“Drivers in Saint-Jérôme are well positioned to enjoy the benefits of an EV, whether they mainly travel within their region or commute daily to Montreal. CAA-Quebec is proud to help them learn about the advanced technology, dynamic and quiet driving, and considerable energy savings associated with using an EV,” said Pierre-Serge Labbé, Vice President, Mobility Services at CAA-Quebec.
“Even though we hear a lot about EVs, we only fully understand their appeal after trying them out. The variety of vehicles that participants will be able to test drive will allow them to pinpoint the type of EV that would suit them best, or simply discover models they haven’t driven yet,“ added Mr. Labbé. ”They will also be able to round out their information gathering by consulting the buyer’s guide that CAA makes available to the public free of charge.”
Test drives at MEET Saint-Jérôme will be available every Thursday to Sunday between October 30 and November 16, from 10 am to 5 pm. Online reservations for MEET Saint-Jérôme are recommended, though walk ups are welcome as well. Drivers must be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver’s license.
The event is detailed in a recent sponsored article in the Calgary Herald.
