Plug’n Drive and RBC Celebrate 2025 Avion Points Contest Winners and Preview 2026 MEET Tour – Plug’n Drive Canada

New MEET stops announced as the EVs are for EVeryone Tour heads into a busy winter season

Toronto, ON, December 18, 2025 – Plug’n Drive and RBC are pleased to announce the winners of the RBC’s Avion Points Contest for visitors to the Mobile EV Education Trailers (MEETs) in 2025 as part of Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Tour Cross-Canda Tour, and to share a first look at the schedule of MEET events for 2026.

This announcement marks the close of the 2025 MEET touring season—the most successful season to date for Plug’n Drive—while the focus of the Tour shifts to winter events.

Celebrating the 2025 Avion Points Contest Winners

Throughout 2025, visitors to the MEETs were invited to enter for a chance to win Avion® points, courtesy of RBC, the National Champion Sponsor of the Tour. Two winners—one from Eastern Canada and one from Western Canada—have been chosen.

  • Eastern Canada Winner: AR
  • Western Canada Winner: Zlatan Cilimdzic

Each winner will receive 250,000 RBC Avion points, enough to redeem for an electric scooter and other rewards.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate this year’s Avion Points contest winners,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “RBC’s leadership as our Champion Sponsor has helped bring EV education to a record-breaking 19,000 visitors across 19 MEETs, 86 EV Roadshows and five auto show test drive features since the Tour began in September 2024. It’s clear that the appetite for EV knowledge has never been stronger.”

“Research shows that hands-on experience is important when considering making the switch to an electric vehicle,” said Thea Silver, Senior Director, Environmental Impact at RBC. “RBC is proud to support The EVs are for EVeryone Tour which offers a unique opportunity to learn about and test drive EVs firsthand, and we are pleased to see such a positive response across the country.”

The RBC Avion Contest is expected to be back again in the spring, when the MEETs hit the road for the 2026 touring season.
