Toronto, ON – February 5, 2026 – Plug’n Drive is inviting attendees to experience electric vehicles (EVs) firsthand at the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow (AutoShow), running February 13–22 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). As part of its EVs are for Everyone Cross-Canada Tour, Plug’n Drive will facilitate EV test drives at the AutoShow, giving attendees the chance to feel the performance, acceleration, and quiet ride of today’s EVs.
This year, the AutoShow highlights innovation in electrified transportation and features EVs from various automotive brands on Canada’s largest indoor EV test track – all designed to educate and inspire Canadians about the future of driving.
For the fourth consecutive year, Plug’n Drive will be managing test drive registration for the show’s indoor EV test drives and one of the outdoor EV test drive tracks, helping attendees with the opportunity to get behind the wheel of over 20 new EVs.

“Returning once again as the registration partner for the EV test drives at the AutoShow is especially meaningful as Plug’n Drive celebrates its 15th anniversary this year,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO at Plug’n Drive. “Our mission has always been to help Canadians experience EVs and gain the confidence to make informed choices. Facilitating that hands-on experience for thousands of visitors over a two-week span at the AutoShow demonstrates just how far EV adoption has come – and how important it remains to get people behind the wheel.”
“As the EV test drive feature at the AutoShow grows to reflect Canada’s shift toward electric mobility, Plug’n Drive is excited to bring Canadians a chance to experience EVs in action,” said Tracy Walden, Vice President, Engagement at Plug’n Drive. “This is part of our larger mission to accelerate EV adoption through education, test drives, and our EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour.”
Opportunities are emerging all over Canada to experience EV test drives as part of the EVs are for EVeryone Cross Canada Tour. Check the Tour page often for regular updates.
