Plug’n Drive Returns to the Edmonton Auto Experience to Run the Electric Vehicle Test Drive Track – Plug’n Drive Canada


Edmonton, AB – April 2, 2026 – Plug’n Drive is proud to return to the Edmonton Auto Experience for the second consecutive year as the Electric Vehicle (EV) Test Drive Partner, taking place April 9–12, 2026 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, at 7515,118 Ave. NW, Edmonton.

As a stop on Plug’n Drive’s EVs are for EVeryone Cross-Canada Tour, the Test Drive Track will provide attendees with the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the latest electric vehicles and experience their performance firsthand.

The Edmonton Auto Experience is a dynamic four-day event that reimagines the traditional auto show, offering immersive and interactive experiences for attendees. Attendees can participate in EV test drives conducted on a closed-course track, offered on a first come, first served basis. A selection of EVs from several automotive brands will be available.

Electric Vehicle Test Track Schedule

  • Thursday, April 9 | 10:30 am – 8:30 pm
  • Friday, April 10 | 10:30 am – 8:30 pm
  • Saturday, April 11 | 10:30 am – 8:30 pm
  • Sunday, April 12 | 10:30 am – 5:30 pm

Requirements for Test Drive Participation

  • Participants must be 21 years or older
  • Valid driver’s licence required
  • Completion of a test drive waiver prior to driving

Knowledgeable EV Ambassadors from Plug’n Drive, alongside EV Ambassadors from the EV Association of Alberta, will guide participants throughout the experience, answering questions about vehicle performance, charging, costs, and incentives.
