Plug’n Drive’s Mobile EV Education Trailer offers hands-on EV experience at Central City
Surrey, BC – April 30, 2026 – Residents of Surrey, British Columbia, will have a chance to get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle (EV)—free of charge—when Plug’n Drive brings its Mobile EV Education Trailer (MEET) to the city from May 7 to June 7.
Open Thursdays through Sundays at Central City, MEET Surrey offers a hands-on, no-pressure way to explore electric vehicles, ask questions, and learn what it’s really like to drive electric.
“Test drives are a vital part of the decision-making journey for anyone considering an electric vehicle,” said Cara Clairman, President and CEO of Plug’n Drive. “This Tour makes it easy for people to compare options, understand charging, and see how EVs can fit into their daily lives.”

Visitors to MEET Surrey can:

- Walk-ins welcome: Drop by during event hours
Driver requirements:
- Must be 21+ with a full, unrestricted driver’s license
- Prefer not to drive? An EV Ambassador can drive for you
- Passengers aged 8+ welcome with a parent or guardian
